I am writing to you all today to express my interest in joining Wpromote as a Project Coordinator, and to share how I see myself as a good fit for the role, to add some context to answer some likely questions about my resume, and finally to tell you all little bit about my favorite experience in my marketing career thus far and how I see it fitting into what you all are looking for in this Project Coordinator role.
I see myself as a uniquely-good fit for this role as I am still early in my career, meaning I have both bachelor’s degrees in Advertising and Biology + I also took a Product Management Bootcamp course–all from UNC-Chapel Hill as well as having three years of marketing experience. This professional marketing experience was in driving full-funnel advertising campaigns for several different clients simultaneously—both from big names and big budgets like American Express to smaller, more local businesses. And while a majority of these years of experience were focused on paid search channels, there was still time spent focusing elsewhere, picking up relevant skills in different disciplines such as in paid social, as well as on the organic side of things in the SEO world. This time spent on different channels required, built, and developed new sets of skills quickly within the wide world of marketing, and I believe that these diverse skills in different areas of the marketing can benefit me well in the varied world as a Project Coordinator and the many different tasks that role could be part of.
With regard to Wpromote specifically, my participation in two different sessions of the Wpromote Academy helped me develop confidence in my abilities in the paid social space (Summer 2025 session) as well as in the leadership and communication spaces (Fall 2025). That first Wpromote Academy session also finished with me submitting the top-scoring final project about proposing campaign concepts across various social platforms for a real Wpromote client.
As for likely the biggest question about my resume, the gap that interrupted my work journey thus far can be attributed to personal health battles. But I am very happy to share with confidence that such health battles have been met with a consistent solution and that I could not be more excited to return to full-time work! More specifically, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which continues to challenge my mobility. With slow progress in the right direction, the remote work opportunities that Wpromote offers is exactly the type of work that I would have no problem fully stepping into.
And then finally, when looking at the skills asked of an ideal candidate for this Project Coordinator role, I am reminded of my favorite experience in my marketing career, where I led the adoption of a new marketing tactic to ultimately drive new sales. The part of this experience that made it my favorite was that this was a new marketing tactic that required communication and collaboration among team members across different departments, requiring cross-functional collaboration. I strongly believe these types of experiences in my marketing career have resulted in me building skills that would suit me well in this Project Coordinator role at Wpromote.
And as a couple of last, real-world notes, I know the application specified a hiring range and I slightly undershot it, as I am not nearly as interested in the financial compensation, but am much more interested in being part of the knowledge and experience to gain in the Project Management industry that resembles my favorite work experience thus far (when I was working cross-functionally across different departments on the same project). Finally, I did want to mention that I have a proven ability to work remotely, as I have spent a full year working for Wpromote previously!
Thank you for taking the time to read this far; I just really feel like I am well-suited for a role like this one as the next Project Coordinator with Wpromote. I look forward to hearing back from you!
Sincerely, Udara.
